Mega Millions hot numbers are the white balls and Mega Balls that have appeared with the highest frequency across all historical drawings. Radar Loto tracks these by analyzing the complete Mega Millions drawing history stored in our backend, ranking each of the 70 white balls and 25 Mega Balls by their total number of appearances.
Because Mega Millions uses a larger white ball pool (70) than Powerball (69), the statistical differences between the most and least frequent numbers tend to be slightly smaller on a per-drawing basis, though over many years of drawings the cumulative differences can still be significant.
There are two different ways to define "hot" in lottery statistics. Historically hot numbers have appeared most often across the entire available drawing record β a more statistically reliable measure. Recently hot numbers have appeared frequently in the last few months, which may reflect shorter-term patterns but with less statistical reliability due to the smaller sample size.
Radar Loto calculates hot numbers based on the full historical record for maximum reliability. To apply hot number analysis to your combination automatically, use the Mega Millions generator in "Hot numbers" mode. For the opposite analysis, see Mega Millions cold numbers.
