To check a Mega Millions ticket, you need to compare your 5 white ball numbers and your gold Mega Ball number against the official drawing results. The Radar Loto checker does this automatically using the latest Mega Millions results from our backend, giving you an instant prize determination.
If you purchased the Megaplier option, your non-jackpot prizes are multiplied by the Megaplier number drawn (2x, 3x, 4x, or 5x). The Megaplier is drawn separately from the main numbers and is announced alongside the official results. If your ticket includes Megaplier and you won $10, a 5x Megaplier turns that into $50. The $1,000,000 Match 5 prize is multiplied to a maximum of $5,000,000 with Megaplier.
Mega Millions prizes expire between 90 days and 1 year after the drawing date, depending on the state. Prizes up to $600 can be claimed at authorized retailers. Larger prizes require a visit to the state lottery headquarters. All prizes above $5,000 are subject to federal tax withholding (24%) and may also be subject to state income tax.
